Before the Humans and the Covenant and every nation of this time period, there were the Forerunners. Not much is known abot this extinct species but all knowledge known comes from the artifacts that were left behind whilst they perished. Unbeknownst to even the highest clearance researchers of Forerunner history, is the story of the Alliance, The small force of rebels plotting to overthrow the Forerunner Empire. Now of course the Forerunners dealt with threats like these every day, but the difference in this group was that they actually had a chance. The Alliance was an exclusive bunch, only letting in the most Elite assasins, soldiers, scientists, and strategists. Any failed Recruits were put down swiftly, so as not to reveal the secrets of the Alliance. After centuries of planning and recruiting the ultimate team, the day of victory as they called it had arrived. It was a gruesome battle which lasted for years and they had almost won, until the Halo was activated in the midst of it all.
...Billions of years later a new civilization arose, Modern Humanity. This civilization had so much potential, and was so much like the Forerunners that the Alliance set foot again on the terrestrial soil of Earth. If they had just barely failed taking over the forerunners, then they could easily take over planet earth, right...?
The traits of the members of the Alliance started to manifest themselves in a select few, which started to grow in numbers larger and larger until it was time for a gathering. After living with humanity so long and blending in they had forgotten their ancestral links to the Alliance of the Forerunner days. All ancestors were teleported into a small room in which.. bright lights started to flash inducing a coma-like state in which they relived their ancestors experiences. Here they uncovered the Alliance’s hold upon them and how loyal they have stayed all along. The experience was graphed onto the billboards of their minds now.. they would NOT forget again. They were told that when the time comes, they would be called upon. Most were eager while others were already trying to weavel their way out of it. These people are now known as the Revolution Of The Alliance.
The Revolution Of The Alliance or ROTA is now known for Justice, Liberty, and Destruction. But they were once just as violent as the rest of the Alliance. What started as a few runners came out to be a full out Revolution of the Alliance's beliefs. "Why?” you ask, well no one shall ever know the answer to that, but we shall always know that ROTA saved our humane existance. Only a select few are ever recruited into ROTA and when they are, they must pass challenging tests and simulations in order to gain membership of this mythic group.
It has been said that when the last morally-corrupted Fighter has been slayed, all ROTA members shall freeze in place in an unknown substance until evil is once again afoot. The Revolution is Here, Are you ready to Fight for Us? |
